"This listing gets a 5 star rating because if you are in that part of Vermont, and you need a nice, cozy place to stay, this is it. Price was reasonable, did not require a 2 night stay, was clean, quiet, and well appointed. It's less of a bed and breakfast and more of a bed, limited options breakfast. Diner down the street, and a sandwich place up the street is all you need. Had a great visit. Much thanks to the owner and give hugs to Mr. Jones and Ginger for us."

"Julie is a great host! She made our family of three feel welcome in her home and place of work. Breakfast was tasty consisting of local boiled eggs, fruit, crackers and Vermont cheddar cheese. We felt at home. She was very accessible and helpful with local questions but also not intrusive in any way. She also does a great job with haircuts at a reasonable price, giving me a trim since it had been while. For the low maintenance and low key individuals out there wanting a warming experience in Vermont I highly recommend staying with Julie. We came as strangers and walked away as friends."

"Wonderful place to stay. Long trail hiker friendly. The host makes a delicious breakfast and creates a lovely eclectic atmosphere with her art, decor, and good playlist. If you are a hiker, you can rides to/from Journey's End."

"My husband and I had a wonderful relaxing stay at Journey's after we completed backpacking the 273-Mike Long Trail. Julie is a caring and welcoming host, and she goes out of her way to support hikers: picking us up from the trailhead, and taking us to pick up take-out so that we didn't have to eat dehydrated camp food! Her home is lovely and unique and met all our needs for the first night off the trail. I highly recommend it!"
